06. Flag Practice with Troop 11257

We had some great assistance this year from Girl Scout Troop 11257. As part of their Silver Award service project, the girls raised money and had permanent flag poles installed in the park. They’re now a permanent park of the park that other organizations can use. Troop 11257 then came each day and worked with each unit, conducting lessons on how to properly raise, lower, and care for the flag. The girls then applied what they had learned when their unit the flag ceremony for the camp.
